A festival all in itself, Kid's World is the place to be for our Foodies of smaller stature!   Kids of all ages will be delighted with an expansive Arts & Crafts area featuring 6 separate stations, dance and performance troupes, magic shows and an amazing Storytelling Tent.  Kid’s Land will feature a variety of other activities, including a trackless train winding its way throughout the Fest, bounce-houses and other fun activities!   Kid’s Land will be hosted by volunteers and staff from the Boys & Girls Clubs.

The icing on the cake of Kid’s World will be Kid-Chen Stage, brand-new to the festival this year!  Adults aren’t the only ones interested in cooking, so we are bringing a mini-version of our Kitchen Stadium to Kid’s World.   Kid-Chen Stage is proud to feature 2 professional chefs onsite the entire weekend.  Our chefs will hold demonstrations and instructional activities for all of the budding chefs of Central California!  Kids will learn that it IS possible to make cooking and nutrition fun!

If Kid-Chen Stage is the icing on the cake, then the appearance of Save Mart's television show "Hey Kids Lets Cook!" is the cherry on top!  Now in its 5th Season, "Hey Kids Lets Cook!" is an award winning show that helps kids develop cooking skills, while demonstrating how to make easy, irresistible recipes while focusing on teaching children healthy eating habits and how to make wise food choices.  Who knows, maybe another young star will be discovered!

Center Stage will be host to several talented and entertaining groups.Magician Jay Navarette will be on hand to amaze us with his illusions. Summit Charter Academy's "Last Pitch of the Climb;" a fantastic high school vocal group, uses interactive blues, country and their own original songs to tell stories about nature.  Ruby Slipper Performing Arts Academy will amaze us with the talent of their elite Troupe performing selections from Mama Mia.  Stay tuned as more talent is added to our lineup!

Foodie Fest’s Arts & Crafts craft area will be beyond belief this year!  Kids can go to six separate stations where they can create everything from pop-up art to pomander balls.  All stations are included in the price of admission!   This will be sure to entertain them for hours!

The Tulare County Farm Bureau’s education committee will host in part a children’s activity tent at this year’s Foodie Fest extravaganza. In partnership with educational displays on loan from the California Women for Agriculture Kings-Tulare chapter, the activity area will feature kid friendly activities, a petting farm with live animals, and interactive exhibits and demonstration areas to teach children about food and fiber production. The kids’ activity tent is being donated by Duarte Nursery of Hughson, Ca. Tulare County Farm Bureau represents more than 2500 members and farm families in Tulare County and is dedicated to protecting and promoting the viability of agriculture in Tulare County.

Join us to witness FoodieKitchen Stadium Fest Iron Chef competition! Utensils will be flying as Central Valley Chefs, both pros and amateurs, compete in timed culinary competitions with surprise ingredients, all in front of a live audience! As competing chefs race to see whose cuisine reigns supreme, guests will be able to sample food from regional vendors, take part in hands-on food demonstrations featuring local produce and local talent.
